Sterk opgaande iep, die in de jeugd piramidaal groeit en tot meer ovaal op latere leeftijd. Hoogte 15-18 m. Blad frisgroen en groter dan bij 'Lobel'. Gele herfstverkleuring. Goede windvastheid en ziekteresistentie, vatbaarheid voor ‘vuur’ gering. Beperkte aanplant als stedelijke straatboom is verantwoord.
