Glanzend donkergroen, groot 3-lobbig blad, waarvan de middelste lob de grootste is. Mooie bronskleurige herfstverkleuring, het blad blijft lang in verdroogde toestand aan de boom. Vraagt een voedzame, vochtige drainerende bodem. Goed windvast. Voor plantsoenen en parken.
